Storlond is the rose's "different twin"!
It is in fact a blend of Merlot (prevalent) and Cabernet Sauvignon from the "Feld" and "Barleith" vineyards.
With Storlond the grapes take a different path.
After a maceration on the skins for a few weeks Storlond remains in used barriques of various passages for about 20 months. As with all wines, fermentations are spontaneous by indigenous yeasts.
The operations in the cellar are minimal. We do not use sulphites and any other products.
It then goes into the bottle and only at this moment do we add a minimum quantity of sulfur dioxide. We don't filter. No clarifications.
