Tropfltalhof, why this name?

Tropfltalhof means "House of the dripping valley". Rarely a name speaks so clearly. The stream water comes dripping. Most of the water that comes down from the mountain disappears into the ground before it gets here. Then there remains a trickle, which disappears completely in the dry summer weeks.
This place has had this name since ancient times.
